Welcome to the Gabriella Boyd Memorial Foundation

The Gabriella Boyd Memorial Foundation was created on April 28, 2018, after a tragic and devastating loss of Gabriella at only two and a half years old. Her father, Stephen Boyd, began this Non-Profit organization in order to not only honor his little girl but also to help those who are struggling to have a voice and be heard.

Since 2016 after reluctantly entering into his first ” Parenting Agreement ” that was ordered by a judge in Westchester County, Stephen had been fighting for physical custody of his daughter. Like many of us, he was not familiar with the details and aspects of Family Court Law, Child Support, and Parental Rights pertaining to his situation and the situation of so many others. This process had been very difficult, time consuming, and costly for Stephen. However the love that he has for his little girl was far greater, and he took all the necessary steps to educate himself and properly build a case. For two and a half years, he had built a case against the mother of his daughter with evidence, which he hoped to show that he ultimately deserved custody of Gabriella.

We are wishing all the amazing mama`s out there a very happy Mothers day, we are wishing all the father`s put there who fill the role of a mother a very Happy Mothers Day!!!!

Today is a day I cherish, although left as a memory from the mother`s days I have as able to celebrate with my Gabby, I still cherish. As hard as it may be to think back on you giving me a rose or something for mother`s day is something i will cherish forever. I say this everyday, every year, you my beautiful ladybug gave me the opportunity to love you as my very own, to help raise you as my very own, I will always be grateful that you allowed me into your life, into your heart so I could love you like my very own. I know I didn`t give birth to you but I know you are my little girl, my only little ladybug!!!! You are with my 2 girls Honey and Harley and I celebrate them too because being a fur mom isn`t easy, I am grateful they are by your side, Daddy, Hercules and I love you sooo much.

To all the mom`s who have lost their most precious gift, who are fighting to be in their child`s life, we celebrate because you are stronger than you know, stay positive, you got this!

Its taken me since yesterday to make this post, this post that never gets any easier.

Today it`s been 5 years since we all lost the biggest piece of our hearts, 5 years since we have seen your smile, 5 years that we have been able to hold you in our arms and tell you how much we love you! In those 5 years, it still feels like yesterday when I got the call from Daddy telling me you were gone, it feels like yesterday this nightmare started, one we can`t seem to wakeup from and be able to hold you again.

I will always ask myself why? Why could The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department have taken you out of harm`s way? Did they honestly expect a 2.5 year old defend herself off of that monster? How ignorant can you be? When multiple people were telling you she was in danger, when you knew very well who you were dealing with since you were there 2x before? Do you not have kids? Are you not an uncle? A grandfather? What happened to protect and serve? That go out the window too? While all those involved who did NOTHING to save her have the opportunity to hug their kids, nieces/nephews, grandkids, watch the grow.....we are left with just a memory of a beautiful little girl who deserved more than what you did for her which was absolutely nothing. You wear your badge proudly, you walk into a government building proudly....proud of what? Of the innocent life you failed? Your as guilty as the scum that is locked up. Know this we will NOT give up, will continue our fight for our little girl until everyone involved is held accountable!
WE WILL CONTINUE TO BE HER VOICE, AND HER VOICE WILL BE HEARD!!!!!!

I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART MY BEAUTIFUL LADYBUG, I know I will never understand why, but what I do know is I am the luckiest person in the world to be able to call you my little girl, Daddy and I will fight for you, I hope we are making you proud everyday. I miss your smile, I miss your hugs, I will cherish the day you called me RoRo. I will look for you in the clouds, I smile when I see a ladybug, I know your always by our side, I would give anything if it meant we could hold you again.

We love you always and forever my beautiful Gabriella, our beautiful little angel.
